In this short but visually active horizontal shooter (with a boss) it is your goal to, well, shoot while moving horizontally and eventually kill the boss.
Seems easy enough, though the game is actually quite difficult. You will be cause ducking and weaving for extended periods of time between waves of bobbing crab creatures and giant brain things. not to mention the walls, any of which will kill you at the drop of a hat (or scrape of an elbow).
The difficulty can be eased off by collecting little pellets dropped by random enemies. Collect four of the orbs and press X + UP for a weapon upgrade. Press X + DOWN to degrade your weapon and use the orbs as a shield. Yellow indicates one hit at your leisure and red orbs means you have two.
The variety of weapons and the beautiful - almost Carious Weltling II like terrain (which itself was described as John Kricfalusi-like, a good indicator) is enough to earn this title a decent look. Although, its length does hold it back from becoming a staple of the genre, which is a shame.
