In this game from Japan, you are a ship of some sort, flying around obliterating other ships - for reasons unknown. Sound like fun? Well, good news because it is. Very fun.

The gameplay is as tough as it sounds (outlined above) but its most impressive feature is the second weapon you are given. The first (fired with [Z]) is powerful enough for most enemies, but its when you start grazing enemy bullets that your secondary powers up. Pressing [X] unleashes it (if its power is over 100) and it really, truly is a sight to behold. Taking up nearly the entire screen, the bullets sprayed from this unholy weapon can obliterate the larger enemies in a fraction of a second. Press [X] again to save its power for later.

The other positive feature is your health. Unlike other shooters where one bullet knocks you down, this has a sliding health meter and pick-ups can replenish your health. Nifty.
